Liquidation of a fund
It is proposed at the general meeting of Jyske Invest International that the fund Jyske Invest Indian Equities CL be liquidated via simplified liquidation.
The demand for certificates has been and is still expected to be declining for the fund. It is the assessment of the Supervisory Board that the liquidation of the fund and the fact that it will take place via simplified liquidation are in the interest of investors. Consequently, it was proposed to liquidate the fund in the course of the autumn of 2022.
The liquidation is conditional on the approval by the general meeting and subsequently the approval of the liquidation by the Danish Financial Supervisory Authority.
How will this affect the members of the fund?
For investors with certificates of the discontinuing fund this means that their certificates will be redeemed and the proceeds from the sale will be deposited into the investors' accounts. Redemption will take place at the price of the certificates at the statement date.
The liquidation was submitted for adoption at an extraordinary general meeting on 6 July 2022. The period of notice is expected to run up to and including 6 October 2022.
We expect to follow the schedule below.
- On 5 September 2022: Trade in certificates will be suspended until liquidation takes place.
- On 14 September 2022: Settlement date - the value of the certificates at the end of the day will determine the value to be paid out.
- On 19 September 2022: The liquidation will be registered in VP Securities' systems.
Trade in certificates in the discontinuing funds will be suspended as of 5 September 2022.
