Liquidation of twelve funds

The members in general meeting of Jyske Invest International have adopted the motion to liquidate twelve funds:

• Jyske Invest British Bonds CL
• Jyske Invest Dollar Bonds CL
• Jyske Invest European Bonds CL
• Jyske Invest Favourite Bonds CL
• Jyske Invest High Grade Corporate Bonds CL
• Jyske Invest Danish Equities CL
• Jyske Invest German Equities CL
• Jyske Invest US Equities CL
• Jyske Invest Chinese Equities CL
• Jyske Invest European Equities CL
• Jyske Invest Far Eastern Equities CL

The demand for certificates has been declining for funds whose assets are today relatively small. Consequently, it was proposed to liquidate the twelve funds in the course of March 2020. 

On 15 January 2020, the Danish Financial Supervisory Authority granted the investment association permission to begin the liquidation of the twelve funds.

How will this affect the investors of the twelve funds?

For investors with certificates of the twelve discontinuing funds this means that their certificates will be redeemed and the proceeds from the sale will be deposited into the investors' accounts. Redemption will take place at the price of the certificates at the statement date.

The liquidation was submitted for adoption at an extraordinary general meeting on 6 January 2020. The period of notice is expected to run up to and including 6 April 2020.

Important dates

We expect to follow the schedule below.

• 19 March 2020: Trade in certificates will be suspended until liquidation takes place.
• 24 March 2020: Settlement date - the value of the certificates at the end of the day will determine the value to be paid out.
• 26 March 2020: The liquidation will be registered in VP Securities' systems.
• 27 March 2020: The certificates will no longer appear in the investors' custody accounts, and the money will be credited to the investors' accounts.

Trade in certificates in the discontinuing funds will be suspended as of Thursday 19 March 2020.

Final statement

The calculation of the final value of the funds has now been made, and the liquidations have been run by VP Securities A/S. The liquidation prices and currency appear from the table below.
